Captain America

We're working with ink and pens and all that jazzy stuff in my illustration class right now. Well, our current assignment was to draw something and use a few different specific techniques. We had to use contour line, hatch line, cross-hatch, stipple (lots of little dots) and a pattern.

Well, the easiest pattern for me to draw is the loops/scales pattern, so I thought the easiest way to get all of these different things would be to draw Cap. I have to admit that I was somewhat inspired by a friend on LJ after a short conversation with her about Captain America.

Anyway, here's my pen illustration of Ultimate Captain America. Really, I could have probably drawn regular Captain America but 1) I like the Ultimates better and 2) I really don't like those dumb wing things on the side of his head >_>
